Seeing Red: A Blind Red Wine Tasting
$40 • Special Price
Mark your calendars, red wine fans. You’re invited to Seeing Red, a blind wine tasting presented by Inside Columbia magazine. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at the Culinary Adventures center, 47 E. Broadway. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with light appetizers, followed by the opportunity to sample seven red wines. Glenn Bardgett from Annie Gunn’s in Chesterfield will moderate the tasting. Bardgett has 35 years of wine experience, and he has helped the restaurant earn the Wine Spectator Best Of Award of Excellence every year since 1994. Annie Gunn’s is one of only five restaurants in Missouri to receive the award.
During the tasting with Bardgett, you will rank each wine on a scorecard provided. At the end of the night, you’ll have the option of a complimentary safe ride home.
Tickets for Seeing Red cost $40 per person. Culinary Adventures gift certificates may be used, but you will not receive a refund for the price difference. There will not be cooking lessons at this tasting, but you will have the opportunity to ask Bardgett your wine questions and place orders for your favorite wines of the evening.
Parking is available in the parking lot at the Culinary Adventures center, 47 E. Broadway, and also next door at 33 E. Broadway. For questions about the event, email Haley Adams at haley@insidecolumbia.net, or call 573-442-1430.
